Resources

Throughout my journey, there have been endless resources that have helped me and I’d like to share a few of my favorites with you:

Meditation: I’m a huge fan of the Calm app. This is great for folks who are new to meditation and would like some guidance to get started. There are free meditations available, and for a small fee, you can unlock endless more meditations. This app is also great for those who have been practicing for a longer period of time – there are “light” options available with minimal guidance and even ones with zero guidance (just a timer). If meditation isn’t already part of your daily routine, I highly suggest you think about incorporating (even as little as 10 minutes) into your schedule. You will be amazed at the results!

Yoga: I LOVE yoga. I try to do it as often as possible. It’s a great way to take care of your body, it helps reinvigorate you, and for me personally, is a great way to feel aligned and connected to the universe. If that’s not your jam then at the very least, you get to move your body and get a great workout in. I love a good yoga class and being part of a community, but for anyone who lives in a remote area or feels crunched for time, an at-home yoga practice can be a lovely gift to give yourself. My all-time favorite way to practice yoga at home is with miss Adrienne Mishler. Not only is she hilarious and super down to earth, but she’s so knowledgeable about what she does and has SO many FREE options to choose from. I’m talking hundreds. Whether you’re feeling angry, amazing, hungover, lonely or just blah, she will have a video for you.

Books: Diving into a great personal development/self-help book is always energizing and inspiring for me. There have been so many along the way, but here are a few that really rocked my world (in no particular order). Enjoy!
